FSE hereby invite member organisations to apply to host our Summer Network Meeting in 2020.
As you may already be aware, the FSE membership decided at the 2015 General Meeting in Belfast to hold the European Football Fans Congress every 2 years, while hosting a network meeting every other year.
Since then, Summer Network Meetings have taken place in Izmir (2016), Turkey, hosted by TARAFTAR HAKLARI DERNEGI and TarafDer, and Gijón (2018), Spain, hosted by UNIPES and FASFE.
We expect the 2020 Summer Network Meeting to be organised in July, after the European Championships.
The format of the Summer Network Meeting is open, with local hosts having complete control over its organisation. That said, the programme should offer sufficient room for discussion on the most pressing issues affecting European football fans.
Applications should be submitted via email to info@fanseurope.org before 15th November 2019, with the header FSE SUMMER NETWORK MEETING – APPLICATION. Apllicants will receive further information on the bidding process and the support offered by FSE in due course.
The hosts will be selected and announced in January 2020.

Background Information
FSE will contribute a total of 15.000 EUR to the organisation of the event.
The only conditions are:
1. The event needs to bring together FSE members and, where possible, other football fans.
2. The event programme should leave sufficient room for training, workshop, and discussions on shared problems and the situation of football fans across Europe.
3. All expenses need to be accounted for with appropriate receipts and in consultation with the FSE Office (further details will be provided to applicants).
The FSE Board will get in touch with you and select the successful applicant in a majority vote on the basis of the programme and provisions among all applicants who put themselves forward. It is advisable that the FSE members can be sure of having a sufficient number of volunteers and a roughly elaborated idea/programme that can give an impression of what and how they want to organise the summer meeting in their first email, in order to facilitate decision-making.
