Football Supporters Europe (FSE) launched their survey on away fans’ experiences in the European club competitions.
As agreed during the last European Football Fans Congress (#EFFC2017) in Belgium, the survey on fan issues at Champions League and Europa League matches marks the first step in FSE’s efforts to reach minimum standards for European football supporters following their teams across the continent.
Football fans are facing various challenges when traveling to their team’s European away matches, from late fixtures to visa requirements, tickets prices or policing.
In order to reach an improvement of the situation for away fans, Football Supporters Europe (in cooperation with FanVox) launched a survey to monitor conditions in away sectors.
Travelling supporters are invited to answer the survey after every of their European away tours and to provide information on all relevant topics as travel arrangements, ticket fares, allocation, policing/stewarding, catering, etc.
FSE will at a later stage evaluate the information provided and publish a report based on its findings, in order to offer a clear picture of the situation within the whole UEFA region and to liaise with the football authorities on possible improvements.
Football supporters who want to contribute and share their experiences can find the Away Fans at European Competitions survey here.
