THANK YOU! HERJAN STEPS DOWN FROM FSE BOARD

Football Supporters Europe (FSE) would like to place on record its immense gratitude to Herjan Pullen, who has stepped down from the organisation’s Board after nine years of voluntary service to take up a role at UEFA.

Herjan was the longest-standing member of the FSE Board prior to his recent departure, having initially been elected at the 2015 BGM in Belfast. He has played a key role at several junctures in FSE’s journey to becoming the organisation that it is today, and has always been a strong and informed voice in advocating for improved rights and conditions for supporters, as well as the importance of taking collective action at European level. Herjan has also made a significant impact at the national level for supporters’ rights in the Netherlands, both with Supporterscollectief Nederland and on behalf of supporters at his club, Ajax.

Summarising Herjan’s contribution, FSE Executive Director Ronan Evain said: “Herjan has always been a pleasure to work with during his time on the FSE Board. We’ve seen a significant amount of change within European football in recent years, and Herjan’s contributions alongside his fellow Board members, were instrumental in ensuring consistency and stability from FSE’s perspective.

“His commitment to our Core Principles is testament to the progress we’ve made on behalf of the European supporters’ movement, and on behalf of the FSE Office, Board, and membership, I want to acknowledge his work and efforts over the past nine years and share that he moves on with our support and very best wishes.”
